Whenever I travel to a popular destination that I’ve never been, especially if it is a longer flight, I like to research if there are any other smaller places I can visit while there. I like to take day trips by ferry if possible for day trips. Now, if I’m hopping a charter flight…I’ll probably stay overnight…but for ferry day trips, if you leave out early, you can spend all day at your own pace and then you can catch the best sunsets on the way back.
Day trips are a nice escape from the more major touristy areas and hustle and bustle.
I personally love going to secluded beaches. If you start early in the day, there is so much you can see, do and experience…so Take the Day Trip.
