When I travel to certain places (especially when I’m in full on explorer mode), there are specific places I want to see, and sometimes I have to plan other events around those sights.
This is where travel apps come in. There are so many travel apps, but the one that has lasted in my phone for years is TripIt. I have other apps as well, but this one has stood the test of time.
TripIt is a travel planning tool that takes all of your trip info and puts together an orderly itinerary / timeline. It takes everything from your flights to dinner reservations to shows and organizes it all. It really does a lot. I don’t always stick to the plan I set up, but I always have a plan on me.
I have been using TripIt for years because I am a planner, and I can go back and look at past trip itineraries that I’ve made or easily plan future trips.
TripIt is always updating their features, and you can easily share it with others who are on the trip with you.
I don’t use it for every trip, but when I do, it comes through.
I have a few other apps I love, but this one is an O.G.
