I have been putting off the task of setting up an affiliate tracker for my blog. Most blogs use affiliate marketing to make some sort of income. I am just scratching the surface on this, so I am no expert.
From the little bit of research I’ve conducted, I do know that the first step is coming up with a system to organizing all of the links that will eventually accumulate. There are details that can eventually become overwhelming, so it’s best to start organizing things from the beginning SET up.
What I Found ~ AirTable
I initially was going to just use Google Docs but then discovered AirTable, which is an online workspace to organize data. It is similar to Excel, but has more functions to structure your data. It is more intuitive to me, and once I clicked around a bit, I was able to start using it.
Tracking Programs
Now that I have my AirTable set up, I am going to start tracking my affiliate programs and adding info such and links, rate, payment frequency and any other relevant info I may need to keep of track of all of this.
I think this will be beneficial to growing my blog, but I haven’t been using it long enough to give a full review, but so far, I am liking it. I will give a BTS update later, after using it a bit more. So if you are setting up your own blog, make sure to create some sort of affiliate tracker from the start.
Ok, now back to the travel fun!
