I’ve been researching how to organize my travel content, so that I can be productive with coming up with ideas, creating content and posting for SET.

Content Calendar & Strategy

I’ve been learning a lot about content calendars and content strategy. Apparently, this is something every content creator (regardless of niche) should have because you will have increased productivity, better organization, and will be more consistent with posting.

This is basically a schedule to outline when you plan to publish content to different platforms. It’s helpful because you stay organized, and don’t forget ideas. It will keep you on track with your goals. I’ve never created one before, but I assume it is similar to project planning, but just for content.

Am I making excuses or making progress?

I don’t think I’m at this point to create a content calendar yet because I am still setting up back end things such as:

• Orgazing files…I got random files all over the place between my computer and phone.

• Signing up for affiliate programs. This is basically where I am setting up links to earn commissions from my blog. This is a deeper topic.

• Figuring out / and optimizing this site with SEO…more on this later.

• Working on branding and trying to keep things consistent…let me know if you want to hear more on this too and I’ll link info for this later.

• And really just making up excuses not to create a content calendar. LOL.

So with that being said, I am going to start my content calendar this weekend, for the rest of September. I will let you know how it goes.

Until then, follow me on Instagram or travel and experience updates!
