I love having fun with my girls, and a bachelorette party is the ultimate fun experience if it is planned right. Bachelorette parties are a great excuse to travel or just experience something new. You get to create bonds and memories that will last a lifetime.
If you want to ensure that the bride and her friends have the ultimate bachelorette party or trip, check out my tips below.
1. Consult the Bride
Getting feedback is always my first action when planning an event for someone. I do this to to get an understanding of preferences and expectations. This trip is all about the person you are honoring, so make sure she is comfortable doing the things you have in mind.
2. Set the Budget
Establish a budget and let everyone know what you have planned along with cost. Do this early to ensure everyone is comfortable with the cost of the trip. Be mindful that everyone’s budget and be upfront with as much information as possible.
3. Create a Guest List
The people on the guest list should all be approved by the bride. It is really all about her, so make sure to run the list by her.
4. Choose the Destination
Select a place that the bride wants to go to. Make sure the vibe and the activities of the destination aligns with what she wants.
5. Choose Accommodation
Find a place that can accommodate the group size. There are so many options, such as hotels, vacation rentals, Airbnb or Vrob. Consider the location and proximity to activities when planning where to stay.
6. Transportation
Try to coordinate for everyone to arrive around the same time to get the party started together. I know it doesn’t always work out, but the more to arrive before or with the bride, the better the kick off party will be.
7. Decorations
Bachelorette parties are much more memorable when there is theme involved. Buy some decorations and party favors for match with the theme.
8. Food and Drinks
Research the best restaurants for groups. Make reservations early, as the popular spots tend to fill up early.
9. Entertainment
Think about the things that the bride would want to do. Is she chill or wild at heart? Cater to her wants and visit venues that she would love.
10. Personalize Things
Make the bride feel special with her own personal favors, and also have guest favors to match, but make sure the bride’s is a stand out.
11. Communication
Make sure everyone attending has all of the details of the events, what to where, and what to expect.
It’s about Having Fun!
Overall, bachelorette parties are about celebrating the bride and having fun. Just make sure that you are flexible as things won’t always go exactly as planned, and don’t stress it.
Planning a bachelorette trip can be a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. With these tips, you can create a memorable experience for the bride and all of her friends.
